Edisto Island is a short drive from our home apiary on Yonges Island. We help island homeowners, vacation property owners and farmers with live honey bee removal, pollination and hive care.
Edisto's quiet roads, farm fields, wooded tracts and homes that sit empty part of the year give honey bees time to settle in without anyone noticing. A colony can move into a wall, an outbuilding or a hollow tree and be well established before it's found. If you own a rental or second home, it's worth calling us at the first sign of bees coming and going.
Bee Removal
We remove swarms and established colonies alive and bring them back to our apiary. For colonies inside a structure, we remove the bees, comb, honey and brood so the space doesn't attract pests later. Pricing starts at free and depends on how big the colony is and how hard it is to reach. We don't do structural repairs afterward.
Pollination
Edisto still has working farms and large gardens. We place strong colonies for the bloom and handle all of the hive management, so you can focus on the crop.
Apiary Management
Have the land but not the time? We'll set up hives on your property and take care of inspections, swarm prevention, queen checks, feeding and pest monitoring through the season.
