Golden West Line Open-Mated Queen Bee, Marked

These open-mated queen bees are raised from breeder stock sourced from the Golden West line. Each queen is naturally mated, and her offspring may display a range of characteristics depending on the genetics contributed by the drones she mates with.

An option for beekeepers looking to introduce new queen genetics into an existing colony or establish a new hive.

Important: These are open-mated queens, not guaranteed purebred Golden West queens. Specific traits, including temperament, honey production, colony growth, and varroa mite resistance, are not guaranteed.

Queen Bee Disclaimer

Live honey bees are living organisms, and results can vary. Lowcountry Bee Works cannot guarantee queen acceptance, successful introduction, continued egg laying, brood production, colony performance, temperament, or survival after delivery. Once a queen leaves our possession, her health and success may be affected by shipping, handling, weather, hive conditions, beekeeper practices, and other factors beyond our control.

We recommend following proper queen introduction procedures and monitoring the colony after introduction. By purchasing this queen, the customer acknowledges these inherent risks associated with live honeybees.
