About Us
Lowcountry Bee Works is a family-owned apiary based in Yonges Island, South Carolina, dedicated to healthy bees, responsible beekeeping, and handcrafted products inspired by the Lowcountry.
From raw local honey and beeswax candles to small-batch soaps, balms, and other hive-inspired goods, everything we create is made with care and attention to quality. We also provide professional beekeeping services, including swarm removal, hive management, cut-outs, and trap-outs.
Our goal is simple: care for the bees, create products we are proud to share, and bring a little piece of the Lowcountry from our hives to your home.
Our Story
Lowcountry Bee Works was built from a love of honey bees, the outdoors, and the simple idea that good things should be made with care.
What started with a few hives quickly grew into something much bigger. As we learned more about beekeeping, hive health, and the incredible products honey bees provide, we began creating handmade goods that reflect the place we call home—the South Carolina Lowcountry.
Today, Lowcountry Bee Works is a family-owned apiary based in Yonges Island, South Carolina. We care for our bees with a hands-on approach and use ingredients from the hive whenever possible to create products such as raw local honey, beeswax candles, handcrafted soaps, balms, and other small-batch goods.
For us, this is about more than producing honey. It is about healthy bees, responsible beekeeping, quality craftsmanship, and building something our family can be proud of. Every hive we manage and every product we make is treated with the same attention to detail we would expect for our own family.
As Lowcountry Bee Works continues to grow, our mission remains simple: care for the bees, create quality products, support our community, and share a little piece of the Lowcountry with every customer.
From our hives to your home, thank you for being part of our story.
